Yes, there are three apartments that are specifically designed as ADA accessible units. There will be four barrier free parking stalls and one van accessible parking stall provided, and all common spaces are barrier free.

Will I be sharing a bedroom?
No. Each apartment has four (4) bedrooms and two (2) baths. The bedrooms are private, with locking doors. You will share a bathroom with one roommate and the kitchen and living room space with all three roommates.

Why should I rent at Campus Corner Apartments instead of sharing an apartment off-campus?
You are only responsible for your own lease. If one or more of your roommates vacates the apartment, the resident manager is responsible for finding new roommates and you are not held responsible. When you share an apartment off-campus, all roommates sign one lease and all are responsible. Campus Corner Apartments include all utilities, high-speed internet, cable TV, and local phone service. These would be additional costs
when renting on your own.

How will I be placed in a specific apartment?
When you sign your lease, you will fill out a questionnaire regarding your preferences, as well as specific information that will help us match you with other residents. Roommate requests will be honored whenever possible. However, these requests must be mutual. If a particular student is preferred as a roommate, then both residents should note their preferred roommates on the questionnaire.

What are the rules?
Students living at Campus Corner Apartments are held to the GRCC Student Code of Conduct found in the student handbook, http://www.greenriver.edu/studenthandbook/AppendixB.htm. In addition, there are certain rules and regulations established that are intended to promote community building and academic success.

Are there ‘quiet hours’?
We have a 24 hour courtesy policy which all residents and their guests must adhere to. At all times, students must be respectful of their roommates, neighbors and the community.

Can I use my financial aid to pay my rent?
Yes. Once a student's tuition has been paid, any remaining grant or loan money can be used for housing costs. The remaining aid will be given directly to the student, who then uses the funds to pay for housing. Your rent will not be automatically paid through financial aid! Make sure to contact the financial aid office for more information.

Can I take out a student loan to help cover housing costs?
Yes. Students may request loan assistance for housing costs. The request should be made at least a quarter in advance of the time the funds are needed. You may contact the financial aid office for specific information concerning your student loans.
