Fine Arts
Division is accepting applications
to be
considered for adjunct instruction. Adjunct instructors are
appointed quarter to quarter based on student enrollment. For
specifics, applicants should contact the division for more
information.
COURSE:
ART
105 (5 credits) Studies the use
of line, shape, light and shadow, perspective and fundamentals of
composition in the context of drawing based on observation and creative
expression. Introduces students to the figure, forms in nature,
landscape, interior spaces and still life.
This course is scheduled for 9-11am and 1-3pm, MWF, fall and winter
quarters. 8-10am and 1-3pm MWF, spring quarter.
ART 106 (5 credits) Focuses on the human form as a basis for
learning about anatomy, composition, relationship of figure to
environment,
line, shape, value, and color.
This course is scheduled for 9-11:45am, T Th, fall and winter quarters.
10a-12:45, MW, spring quarter.
ART 107 (5 credits) Students will further explore the human form as
subject matter for drawing as a means of creating a coherent visual and
expressive statement.
This course is scheduled for 9-11:45am, T Th, fall and winter
quarters. 10a-12:45, MW, spring quarter.
MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS:
MFA in Art.
Portfolio of
own work plus student work required at interivew.
SALARY:
Salary
is determined by the college salary schedule, and varies depending on
the degree and mode of instruction.
