The Science
Division is accepting applications
to be
considered for adjunct instruction. Adjunct instructors are
appointed quarter to quarter based on student enrollment. For
specifics, applicants should contact the division for more
information.
BIOL 242:
Human Anatomy - Physiology
Second of a 2 quarter sequence covering the study of human
structure and function. Includes the study of endocrine, cardiovascular, lymphatic/immune,
respiratory, digestive, urinary, and reproductive systems. Explores mechanisms of common human
disease processes. Laboratory component includes anatomical studies using microscopy, palpation,
and dissection and the study of physiological concepts via experimentation. Prepares transfer
students for careers in health professions.
MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree in the
biological sciences or a related field with a clear, strong focus in
biology.
PREFERRED
QUALIFICATIONS:
Successful teaching experience at
the college level.
SALARY:
Salary
is determined by the college salary schedule, and varies depending on
the degree and mode of instruction.
