Jialiang Chen

大家好， 我叫陈嘉良，今年21岁 。我来自中国广州。我是一转校生。2006-2007年 ，我在北京师范大学珠海分校读了一年，然后来了美国。我来美国快两年了。2007年9月-2008年8月 ，我在华盛顿洲的绿河社区大学读了一年后，在2008年 的8月转校到印第安那大学继续读完我的本科。我 现在就印第安那大学就读大三的课程。

我喜欢美国的生活，特别是在绿河的时候。那里的老师，学 生，和其他朋友都非常友好，他们很热情照顾我们这些国际学生。记得第一天来到美国的时候，我很迷失，感 觉很不安。但，当我来到绿河，有很多学长帮我们搬东西如入住学校，很多顾问帮我们选课。特别是Ross, 他从机场接我们回学校，帮我们安排好一切东西，真的非常感谢他 。

现在，我算是一些新生的学长了，我也经常在现在的大学像 学长过去那样帮助那些新生。大多数新生都会问我同一个问题，“怎么尽快的适应美国这里的生活啊？”我对 这个问题只有一个答案 "Join us." 我们都是国际学生，我们都是朋友！

My name is Jialiang Chen. I am from China. I am twenty two years old. I am a transfer student. I studied one year in Beijing Normal University Zhuhai in China between 2006 and 2007. I have been in America for almost two years. From Sep 2007 to Aug 2008, I studied one year in Green River Community College in Auburn, Washington State. In Aug 2008, I transferred to Indiana University Bloomington. I am studying at IU now.

I love the life here in America, specially life at Green River Community College. The professors, students, and friends are very, very nice there; they take very good care of our international students. I remember the first day in America: everything was strange. I felt like I lost my mind; I felt very nervous and uncomfortable. However, since I came to GRCC, some senior students helped us move in, our advisors helped us choose classes; and especially Ross, he picked up us from the airport and helped us arrange everything, I would like to reiterate my appreciation to him.

Now, I am a junior at IU; I am often doing the same thing to help those new coming students as I was helped with open arms before. Most of the new coming international students would question me “How can we adapt to American life ASAP?” I would answer the same thing: "Join us." We are all international students, and we are all friends.
