Green River has International Reputation
for Intensive English Program
Students at Green River Community
College know that the IESL program
prepares them very well for their
college studies.
Students from around
the world choose the Intensive English
as a Second Language (IESL) program
at Green River Community College in
Auburn, Washington, which is located
just outside of Seattle.
A major reason students in the IESL
program do so well is because of the
professionalism of the instructors in
the program. All IESL faculty have graduate
degrees, speak at least one language
in addition to English, and have worked,
studied and traveled extensively around
the world. Furthermore, faculty members
are culturally aware and sensitive.

almost 90 percent of students continue
their college education in English,
it makes sense that the IESL program
