"Jessica gave me a lot of information on how to prepare for medical school.  She helped me a lot with the application process." Jessica also encouraged Julia to participate in  activities on campus. Julia enjoys staying busy.  She not only works part-time in the International Programs Office as a Student Assistant, she also volunteers as a tutor in the Math Learning Center and as a lab assistant in the chemistry department. She has also joined several clubs such as the Global Community Organization, Chemistry Club, Phi Theta Kappa, Math Club, and just recently she started a Tennis Table Club.

"What I like about Green River is that you can do whatever you want to do and the staff and faculty are there to help you achieve it. I have always loved table tennis and they helped me to create a club." 

Julia plans on graduating at the end of spring quarter, and for this shining star, the sky is the limit.
