Takashi
Egashira is a graduate student from Osaka University where he
studied Environmental Engineering. He came to Green River Community College
last September so he could improve his English skills and
take Geographical Information System (GIS) classes.
Takashi said, "My university in Japan doesn't
offer GIS so I had to find a place to learn it on my own. I was also
having some trouble with English. Almost of all essays about
environmental issues are written
in English. It took a long time for me to read them. So, I
needed to improve my English skills."
Takashi also added, "I like Green River Community College because I
met great instructors and I made many friends from around the
world." |
