Ipek Egmen, Turkey |
Ipek Egmen came to Green River Community College when
she was 17 and enrolled in the dual credit High School Completion and University Transfer Program.
In June 2007, she fulfilled the High School Completion requirements and received a Washington State
High School Diploma.
Ipek enjoys living in Campus Community Apartments. Her only complaint is that she misses the food
from her country. Otherwise she loves it! "Every night there are programs and activities.
It is a lot of fun!" said Ipek.
Ipek also enjoys forest that surrounds the campus. "It is very calming." In addition she said,
"Teachers make us ready for life. They are always asking us questions that make us think."
Ipek's goal is to transfer to UCLA and major in International Relations.
