Associate in Applied Arts Degree

quarters of attending school full-time, earning a degree as a Legal

When can new students enroll?
You may enroll in the Legal Administrative Assistant program at the
beginning of any quarter. The program is offered both days and evenings to
meet your needs.
Prerequisites
Complete an application to Green River Community College, complete the
COMPASS assessment, and meet with an advisor.
A GED or high school diploma is highly recommended before entering the
program. Communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills are
vital.
How long does the program take?
It depends on you. If you attend full time, the Associate in Applied Arts
degree requirements can be completed in six quarters. If you attend part
time, completion will depend on how many credits you earn each quarter.

Courses requiring special equipment have modest fees.

Legal Administrative Assistant students need to be task-oriented,
flexible, and able to adapt to changing situations.
Does the program transfer to four-year
schools?
Although classes for the Legal Administrative Assistant program are
primarily professional/technical in nature, some may be accepted for
transfer at a four-year institution. A student planning to become a
Business Education teacher should consult a Business Education advisor.

The current starting salary range for a Legal Administrative Assistant
