The program covers preparation of 2D and 3D drawings using Auto CAD, Cadkey, and Mastercam applications. It also prepares you to perform simple layout, plan a sequence of operations, and set up and operate the common machine tools with a minimum of supervision. At completion of the program, you will have proficiencies in the areas of CNC, programming, and machine operation.

Throughout this course of study, you will do assignments using sketches, notes, technical literature, and personal research. Manufacturing Technology-CIM students may take related credits in the trade areas of building, manufacturing, engineering, welding, and surveying.
