The staff in
the Office of Research and Planning at Green River Community College
strives to provide quality college-wide research and information to
support fact-based decision-making, external reporting, and assessment of
institutional effectiveness.
The primary functions of the
Office of Research and Planning are the following:
Strategic
planning services including technical support and leadership of
the college planning process.
Research
and evaluation services including technical support and
leadership in reporting and monitoring the Washington performance
reporting plan and institutional effectiveness process as required by the
standards of the Northwest Commission on Colleges and
Universities.
Survey
design and data analysis services including periodic surveys of
Green River students, area residents, businesses and continuous monitoring
of area population and demographic trends.
Accreditation
response services including the leadership and coordination of
the college's responses to the Northwest Commission on
Colleges and Universities.
Management
information services including monitoring and reporting
enrollment (FTEs) and coordination and completion of federal, state, and
other reports and surveys as required.
