Strategic Plan

Green River has engaged in a comprehensive strategic planning process since 1998.  The framework for our strategic planning process is a three-year cycle of major institutional review, which includes the following:

An environmental scan that includes an analysis of major trends affecting higher education and the community

A review of the mission and purpose

 The establishment of goals

 A refinement of the vision

An agreement on the values of the college

In 2004, Green River reviewed and updated its strategic plan. With guidance from the Board of Trustees, we employed a participatory approach that included faculty, staff, administration, community members, and students. This process led to revised vision, mission, and goal statements that were adopted by the Board of Trustees in 2005. The contents of this publication represent the fundamental elements of our strategic plan.
