Kent Station
Edith
Capen, Vice President for Extended Learning and Resource
Development, is responsible for program planning for the new Kent
Center, Continuing Education, WETRC, study abroad, distance
learning, and curricular aspects of international projects. This
relatively new position allows the college to provide appropriate
attention to these areas. Some of the latest developments include
plans to relocate the Center at Kent to the new Kent Station
Development project in 2005-06, and
to create a new satellite campus with a more comprehensive offering
of programs including credit transfer courses, developmental
education, professional/technical training, as well as more
community education and professional continuing education programs.
