Who Should Attend?
Wastewater facility operators, public
works personnel and any one else interested in upgrading their skill and
knowledge of wastewater collection system management, operation and
maintenance. This course is also an effective refresher for those preparing
to take the Wastewater Collection Certification examination.
Workshop
Description
Participants in this workshop will learn to identify:
wastewater collection system components, their
purposes and how they function. They will be briefed on applicable
industrial wastewater pretreatment requirements. Practical safety and health
information vital to reducing injuries and avoiding costly and embarrassing
enforcement actions will also be provided. Students will get the latest
information on pipe materials, testing, inspection and cleaning. They will
learn worthwhile maintenance methods and record keeping systems to track
costs and comply with safety and health record requirements.
Participants will:
- Gain confidence in your ability to identify collection
system components and how they work.
- Stay current by learning the latest construction,
inspection, testing and maintenance methods.
- Meet current safety and health requirements and avoid
embarrassing and costly mistakes.
- Prepare for the WWCPA Voluntary Wastewater Collection
Specialist Certification Examination.

date is required. This information is used to create a unique key for each
student. Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Payment or purchase order must be received at the time of registration. A
full refund will be made for cancellations received 10 days before the workshop.
No refund will be made for cancellations received less than 10 days before the
workshops. Substitutions made less than
ten (10) days prior to the
workshop incur a $35 processing fee.
