About GRCC

Do you know of any local businesses that would be interested in having a Master's-level marketing intern for five months? This spring, GRCC will be hosting 10 student interns from ESCI, Bourge-en-Bresse, near Lyon in France. The students are pursuing a Masters’ Degrees in either Marketing or Industrial Management and will be here for a five-month business internship experience (plus some further business studies). This is the 4th consecutive year for this successful partnership between GRCC and ESCI. In past years, interns have worked with REI, Flow International, Adeneo, Office Depot Distribution Center, Cascade Gasket Manufacturing, Alaska Distributors and US Gypsum. This year we are focused on finding more marketing internships and could use your help locating companies that would value this opportunity. Here are a few important criteria: We prefer established, medium-to-large local companies (or well-funded, high-growth startups). The industry would most likely be manufacturing, but could also be industrial services companies, technology companies, or even other industries. The key is that the companies have a dedicated marketing department (ideally 5+ people) and that the internships focus on Business-to-Business marketing projects - not retail sales or consumer marketing. The students are here April through August. The internships are unpaid and students work four days per week. Students have excellent English skills and all are typically 22-23 years old.
