Breathe easy, Green River -- Tobacco ban to go into effect Jan. 1
Green River is going tobacco-free, and we need your help to get the word out! Help pass out information cards, post posters and tell people about the new tobacco policy. To get involved, email email@example.com.
Green River is working in partnership with the Seattle-King County Health Department to offer quit smoking resources to students and employees. For more information, contact Julie French, health services coordinator, or call 253-833-9111, extension 2430. You can also visit Let's Do This King County or Smokefree.gov for resources.
Green River is going tobacco free Jan. 1. Students, employees and volunteers will no longer be allowed to smoke or use tobacco products on any of the college's campuses. This includes all sidewalks, parking lots, landscaped and recreational areas and buildings on Green River property and in any college owned, rented or leased vehicles. For more information about the policy, visit the GA-02 Tobacco Use page.
