On-campus help for smokers trying to quit

Green River has many resources that will help you quit smoking once and for all.

If you are thinking about kicking your smoking habit, you are off to a good start. There are tons of on-campus resources that will help you take that next step to improve your health.

Below are some programs that will offer you the support you need to quit smoking once and for all:

Quit for Life

 A Group Health program with two program options: group programs and individual programs working with you at your pace.

Kick Butts Take Names

This program is about freedom from smoking. This is a very positive approach for people who are struggling with nicotine addiction.                                          

The Quit Tobacco program

The Quit Tobacco program is a new addition to the 2007 Aetna Health Connections(SM) Wellness Resources portfolio. It focuses on education, motivation, planning and accountability to help members make the necessary behavior changes to get and stay tobacco-free.

Tricare Smoking Quitline

Tricare is dedicated to helping active duty, veterans, retirees and families.
