Rashee Mehra, a Green River Study of the U.S. Institutes for Scholars alumnus, was one of seven young Indian leaders selected to meet U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry while he was visiting New Delhi for the U.S.-India Strategic Dialogue June 23-25.
Since her participation in the Green River SUSI program in 2012, Rashee has been instrumental in assisting Green River with its development work in India. She also organized two international conferences in New Delhi; the last conference featured attendance from six different countries.

"Green River is proud that one of its foremost SUSI alumni was selected to participate in the program," said Academic Director of SUSI Barry Bannister. "We work hard to inspire young leaders worldwide."
The Strategic Dialogue, inaugurated in 2009, is a forum for discussing the full range of U.S.-India cooperation on bilateral, regional and global issues. Topics for discussion included regional economic management, security and defense, and global issues such as women's empowerment.
