Green River's Aviation Program was one of only eight chosen to present at the Legislative Open House event in Olympia, held Feb. 20.
Aviaton instructors George Comollo, Curt Scott and Chris Ward, along with Support Tech Richard Douglas, were joined by Green River Board of Trustees Chair Linda Cowan, trustees Tom Campbell and Pete Lewis, President Ely and aviation student Krystal Badding.
The aviation department, assisted greatly by Aviation Program Coordinator Yvonne Huang, provided a working flight simulator for the representatives to try at the event.
"The event was very successful," said Comollo. "We are developing new things in the program and the event was instrumental in helping us out. We really enjoyed promoting the school and the program."
