Green River shows 12th man support
About 150 enthusiastic fans gather at the main campus.
Green River's main and Kent campuses were awash with blue and green today.
At noon, almost 150 devoted fans gathered in Kennelly commons to rally before the big game; more than 40 gathered at the Kent campus.
At the main campus, the 12th man spirit was alive and real. Chants rang out across campus and the Green River gator mascot even showed up - wearing a Seahawks jersey, of course. The crowd gathered around a four-foot high number 12, created by welding students Mike Welsh and Charles Price.
