Facilities Master Plan

Planning Committee

Blueprints

The Facilities Master Plan Committee and several sub-committees support the college's master planning and capital request processes. The purpose/vision and mission of each and their relationships to one another are described below.

FMP Committee

Mission

The Facilities Master Plan Committee provides leadership and guidance in the development of a Facilities Master Plan (FMP) that presents capital solutions in response to college needs and creates facilities that support institutional goals.

Committee Functions

The committee gathers input from faculty, staff, administration, students, community members, regulatory agencies, and the Board of Trustees in the establishment of plans that are supportive of the college’s strategic plan and are reflective of our Master Planning Principles.

The committee insures that the Facilities Master Plan includes facilities replacement, renovation, and growth sequenced over time as well as the location of future buildings, walkways, parking, and other infrastructure features.

Using input from design consultants, facility conditions surveys, instructional and student affairs plans, IT/telecom, the foundation, and IP planning efforts, the committee integrates existing facilities conditions and evolving programmatic needs into the plan.
