Student-Right-To-Know

The following information is provided in compliance with the federal Student-Right-to-Know (SRTK) and Campus Security Act of 1990, which requires all institutions of higher education to disclose information about graduation rates and transfer-out rates to all current and prospective students.

First-to-Second Year Retention

Retention rates measure the percentage of First-Time, Degree-Seeking Students who began their studies in Fall 2011 and Re-enrolled or Graduated by Fall 2012.

This cohort represents 20% of the students who enrolled at Green River Community College (Green River) for the first time during Fall 2011.

 First to second year retention rates

These data exclude: continuing students as well as students who attended Green River to gain new job skills, upgrade job skills, improve basic skills, maintain licenses, complete credits for high school and/or to formulate career interests. Also excluded are those who attended for personal enrichment.

Graduation Rate and Transfer-Out Rate

Graduation and Transfer-out Rates measure the percentage of First-Time, Full-Time, Degree-Seeking Students who began their studies in Fall 2009 and Graduated or Transferred-out by Spring 2013.

This cohort represents 13% of the students who enrolled at Green River for the first time during Fall 2009.
