Men's cross-country second at North Region

The Green River men's cross-country team continues to raise expectations after bringing home the second-place trophy at the North Region Championship meet at Oct. 25 Skagit Valley Community College.

Sophomore Nick Koblich showed his experience by leading the team around the 8K course in 28:02 - eight seconds faster than freshman Alec Rhome.

Volleyball hosts pivotal game Friday against Tacoma

With the playoffs in sight, the Green River volleyball team (4-5) faces a critical home contest this Friday night, Nov. 1, against Tacoma Community College (7-2) to stay in the hunt.

Gator Freshmen Danielle Saltarelli and Lisa Demick have maintained a steady influence on the team and will be prepared for the 7 p.m. battle.
