Parent-Child Education (PCE)

Parent Child Education (PCE) is shared learning in early childhood for families. It provides important opportunities for parents to study their own children's development and behavior at different ages and to participate fully in that learning process. Teachers, hired by each program, set up a sound educational curriculum for young children and establish routines and activities that promote social, physical, mental, emotional and creative growth for each child. A college instructor is assigned to each program and serves as an educator and resource person to the parents and the children’s teacher.

Parents earn college credits for participation in the co-op program. A lab fee is paid to the school for the child’s participation.
