What Students Say

Photo Trish Sotelo

"Attending Green River Community College changed my life! The education and skills I gained while a student in the Business Technologies and Administrative Careers department have prepared me to be successful in the workplace. Many of the professors really care about their students and their ability to learn. If I had any questions with the curriculum, they were willing to take the time to help me outside of the classroom. My faculty advisor was critical to my success – I would tell future students to meet with your faculty advisor regularly! If you are looking for a program that will give you critical skills to be successful in today’s workplace and a program where many of the faculty are there to support the students and help you succeed – this is it! Perseverance begins with a brave soul taking that first step into the unknown; be unafraid of those challenges that may lie ahead. Remember, you can never dream too big!"

"I am a graduate of the Business Applications Specialist degree program. I was a student of Tonya, Julie & Lea Ann and each of these women helped prepare me to be successful in the career I am now enjoying. Tonya initially was the one who helped me find my direction; I showed interest in my courses and she showed interest in my future. The skills I learned from these three amazing instructors are proving to be everything that I need to be successful. I learned valuable technical skills as well as critical soft skills that enable me to be successful in my current position as a Title Clerk for Sweetwater County in Green River, WY. The Business Technology and Administrative Careers department at GRCC changed me, my life, and my future and for that…I am truly grateful!"
