About Library Instruction
Information Literacy.JPG)
Information literacy is a set of abilities requiring students to recognize when they need information and be able to ethically access, evaluate, and synthesize the needed information for academic, career, or personal gain. The librarians at Green River Community College seek to take an active role in infusing Information Literacy into student learning across campus.

Faculty in any discipline can request instruction for their classes. Librarians will create tailored, "point of need" instruction to be delivered to your class in the library classroom, your classroom, or "virtually."
