Withdrawal and Refund Policy Credit Classes
It is the student's responsibility to withdraw form the college or from individual courses. Students must submit a withdrawal/change of schedule form to guarantee the accuracy of their permanent records and to begin refund procedures when applicable. The student may receive a refund under the following conditions:
Percentage of refund
for fall, winter, and spring quarters

100 percent refund - Through the first day of instruction of the quarter or the first class session (for identified late start classes
only)

100 percent refund of tuition and fees - When courses or programs are canceled, or if the college is in
error

80 percent refund of tuition less fees - When official withdrawal occurs during the second through the fifth days of
instruction (Summer quarter, second through third days of
the quarter)

40 percent refund of tuition less fees - When official withdrawal occurs on the sixth day of instruction through the first 20 calendar days following the beginning of
instruction (Summer quarter, fourth through tenth days of
the quarter)

Short term classes - 100 percent refund of tuition and fees - When official withdrawal occurs on the first day of class
only

No refund - After the 20th calendar day of the
quarter (Summer quarter, after the 10th day)

The college shall charge a five dollar ($5.00) fee for each refund, with the exception of when courses or programs are canceled, or if the college is in
error

Refunds of less than five dollars ($5.00) will not be
made

Appeals to the refund policy must be submitted to the Enrollment Services Office in written form with supporting documents
attached

When a student receives financial aid, the tuition refund must be returned to the financial aid account and not to the
student

First-time students receiving financial aid will receive prorate
refunds

quarter, refer to the summer quarterly class schedule for refund dates and
policy. To obtain this form you may pick it up at
