department in the Fall of 2007 after spending the previous season as the head coach at Eastside
Catholic HS where he led his team to three district tournament wins. Coach Dillinger has worked in high school athletics for 24
years coaching a variety of sports including thirteen years in football, eight years as a head coach in baseball, sixteen years in
basketball (six as a head girls coach), and five as a head golf coach.
Dillinger attended Muskingum College, Ohio
University, and Everett CC. An outstanding baseball player in his own right,

“I am excited to take my career to the collegiate level. I believe with my
passion for the game and my ability to locate outstanding talent, we can turn
Gator fastpitch into a regional power in the NWAACC.”
Scott is married to Rita and has two married sons (Shannon and Stefanie
Malone-Snider, and Aaron and Nicole Snider), and three grandsons (Oscar, Max,
and Preston.
