Jim von Doehren - Head Men's Coach 2007 marks the third seasons for Jim and Jennifer von Doehren as the Gator men's and women's golf coaches respectively. A high school coach for 14 years, Jim von Doehren has most recently been coaching at Thomas Jefferson HS. Members of the Board of Directors for the Washington Junior Golf Association, the couple has been District Directors for the past eleven years. Their familiarity with golf in the South Puget Sound region goes beyond their enthusiastic support of Junior golf. Both have been high school physical education teachers for 30 years, and together they have raised two children both who have earned NCAA Division I golf opportunities. "Having the von Doehren's involved in Green River CC athletics not only increases the viability of the Gator golf program becoming a consistent contender in the NWAACC, but bolsters the confidence that our program will promote proper golf etiquette and personal conduct reflective of the sport of golf," concludes Athletic Director Bob Kickner.
