 Bob Kickner -
Director of Athletics Entering
his sixth year as the GRCC athletic director and 19th season in intercollegiate athletics, Bob Kickner moved to Washington
state
after spending five seasons as the Head Women's Basketball Coach and Assistant
Athletic Director at the Univ. of Saint Mary in Leavenworth, KS.
Experienced in the NAIA, NCAA Division III, and NCAA
Division II, Kickner has a solid understanding of what it takes to develop a
successful program in scholarship and non-scholarship environments. In 1996-98 while pursuing his master's degree in
heath and physical education, Kickner was an assistant coach at Emporia State
University, Kansas under the guidance of NAIA Hall of Fame coach, Dr. Ron Slaymaker.
In 2009, Kickner was named the Seattle Times 1A Girls
Basketball Coach of the Year after directing the Seattle Christian HS
Warriors to the Washington State Championship title. A heart for youth
sports and ministry, Bob has directed the Grace Basketball Camp at Grace
Community Church and coaches youth soccer in Auburn. A devoted family man, Kickner resides in Auburn with
his wife Jennifer, and their four children Megan, Emily, Dayna and Jared. |
