Head Coach: Michael McDonnell

  Coach McDonnell joined the Gator athletic staff in August of 2008.  In 2009 under McDonnell's supervision, the Gator men won the NWAACC Championship with the women placing second.  He was named the 2009 NWAACC Tennis Coach of the Year.

  A well respected individual in South Puget Sound tennis circles, McDonnell continues to compete in tennis tournaments across the United States.  He is currently among the top ranked players in the over 50 age group. 

  In his free time, Coach McDonnell is a volunteer tennis teacher at Sprinker Recreation and Tennis Center in Spanaway, WA.  He has also assisted at several local high schools.

Assistant Coach: Terry Wise

   Terry Wise joins the GRCC tennis staff as an assistant coach after years of teaching and tournament play. Terry was a two time champion NWAACC while attending Green River Community College and a highly ranked junior and open level player.

  Coach Wise adds a technical expertise as well as many years of practical experience to the program.  Terry is a real estate broker and manager for his profession but has always had a burning desire and passion for tennis.
