Refund Procedures

Services

We are located in the Lindbloom Student Center on the first floor. We provide the necessary books and supplies to meet your academic needs. We also offer a variety of other services, for example: faxes, ID cards, movie rentals etc. Because the bookstore is institutionally owned and all the profits remain on campus, supporting the bookstore helps the campus. We look forward to helping you meet your academic goals.

Refund Procedures

New refund procedure

Effective 11-1-2007

The refund period for fall, winter and spring quarters will be the first three weeks of the quarter for books purchased for the current quarter, supplies and sundries up to 30 days and software 5 days if unopened from date of purchase.  Items returned must be in original purchase condition to receive a full refund.  You’ll receive a full refund of the purchase price if the college cancels the class and you meet the refund requirements.  Receipts are required for all refunds.  Used or opened access codes are not refundable.  Packaged textbook sets will require all parts to be considered for a refund.  If part of the set is missing, it’s possible to get a partial refund if we can replace the part that is missing.  Your refund will be reduced by the replacement value of the part missing.  The bookstore has the right to refuse any item for refund.

Fall, Winter and Spring Quarter

Textbooks:

Returned the first week of the quarter: 100% of purchase price if in original condition.  If not in original condition, used value will be refunded which is approximately 80% of the new price. 

Returned the second week of the quarter: 80% of purchase price will be refunded.  100% if accompanied by proof that class has been dropped and in original purchase condition.

Returned the third week of the quarter: 60% of the purchase price will be refunded.  100% if accompanied by proof that class has been dropped and in original purchase condition.

Supplies and Sundries:

Must be unused and in original unopened packaging.

Software:

Must be unopened in original packaging.

Summer Quarter

Summer quarter refunds are based on the length of the class.  Classes that last more than 5 weeks will have two weeks from the beginning of the class to return their books.  Classes that last 5 weeks or less will have one week to return their books.  Classes that last less than a week will need to return their books before the class starts.
