College Life includes education, experience and practice in healthy behaviors and activities. Green River strives to provide safe and healthy outlets from the intellectual and emotional demands of college life. Some of your daily stressors can be sweat away by lifting weights in the weight room, using cardio machines in the Fitness Center or joining a group fitness class. We also offer a full schedule of Intramural Sports where you can join fellow Gators in a friendly challenge.

Group Fit Classes

Yoga and Yoga Sculpt:

Yoga - An exercise system of various poses to increase flexibility and improve physical health and relaxation.

Yoga Sculpt - Yoga combined with light weight training to tone muscles.

Yoga Schedule

Cardio and Strength:

HITT (high-intensity interval training) Class - Intense bursts of exercises followed by short stints of low-intensity recovery periods.

Bootcamp Class -  Military-inspired fitness class which includes strength training and cardio.

Dance Fitness:

Mixxedfit Class - A combination of explosive nightclub dance moves and boot camp toning.  The moves are easy to follow and repetitive so everyone can learn.

Green River Trails

For walking and jogging enthusiasts, Green River maintains a beautiful 1.2 mile trail throughout the campus. A portion of the trail is paved and accessible to person who use a wheelchair.

In addition to the paved trail, there are extensive forest trails stretching down to the river and out to our bordering neighborhoods. Visit our online trail map.
