Confused and overwhelmed? Feel like you have too many interests? Sometimes it helps to sit down and talk with someone. A Career Planner can make some suggestions and get you started or help you focus your search. Call the Career and Advising Center at 253-833-9111 Extension 2641 to make an appointment.

- Take a quick online majors quiz that matches your interests with majors and careers.
- More free online assessments are also available on Web sites and by calling the Career and Advising Center at 253-833-9111 Extension 2641. You may save your results to an online portfolio and make an appointment to review your results with a Career Planner.
- Professional Career Assessments: The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and the Strong Interest Inventory (SII) are administered online in the Zgolinski Welcome Center. The cost is $20.00 per assessment for students and $40.00 per assessment for non-students. The cost includes a 1 ½ hour individual appointment with a Career Planner to interpret the results. For more information or to arrange to take these two comprehensive professional assessments, call (253) 833-9111 Extension 2641.
- StrengthsQuest is available online by obtaining a password from the Zgolinski Welcome Center or Career and Advising Center. The cost is $20.00 for students and $40.00 for non-students

- CareerOneStop – A website sponsored by the U.S. Dept. of Labor to help identify interests, explore careers, find educational opportunities and help with the job search.
- Workforce Explorer – Washington state occupational descriptions and labor market information.
Career Planners are available by appointment in the Career and Advising Center to assist with editing and developing resumes and cover letters.
