Angel Login Instructions

Your Angel user name is the same as the user name in your Green River email address.  For example if your Green River email address is jdoe5@mail.greenriver.edu then your Angel user name would be jdoe5.  If you don't know your Green River email address you can get it here.  Your Angel password is the same as your student ID without the hyphens.  So if your student ID is 840-12-3456 then your Angel password would be 840123456.

Angel and Computer Software

Operating systems

• For Windows users
  • Angel will only work on Windows 7,  Vista and  XP. 
  • It will not work on earlier versions of Windows
• For Macintosh users
  • Angel will only work on Mac OS X. 
  • It will not work on earlier versions of the Mac OS.

Browsers

• For Windows users
  • Angel will work on IE 8 and 7.
  • It will not work on any earlier version of IE (6 or less)
  • If you don't have IE 8 go to www.microsoft.com/ie to download it.
  • It will also work on FireFox 2 or 3.  You can get either at http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/
  • Angel will not work on any other browser including Opera and Google Chrome
• For Macintosh users
  • Angel will only work on FireFox.  Click on http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html.  Scroll down to English (US) and download the Mac OS X version.
  • Angel will not work on Safari.

Angel Site

http://greenriver.angellearning.com  Please bookmark this site.  You don't need to go through Green River to access it.  If the Green River site should happen to be offline it will not affect your access to Angel.  After you login you'll see links to your Angel courses in a box called Courses on the Home page.  Click on the course link and your course will open.  The Student Users Guide will help you move around in Angel.
