5/19/05 Progress Report   

Construction continues on schedule for our new GRCC Center at Kent.  Contractors are installing siding and window frame components, interior wall partitions, and mechanical and electrical systems.

3/17/05 Progress Report  

Construction is on schedule for our new GRCC Center at Kent.  Structural steel members are in place, with siding and roofing installation scheduled to begin in late March.

Commence Construction of interior space: April, 2005
Occupancy: August 1, 2005
Program Move-in: Late Summer, Early Fall 2005

12/20/04 Progress Report 

Construction of a 40,000 sq. ft. retail building in the Kent Station project began in November. Through Washington’s lease/purchase program, Green River will purchase a portion of this new building to house the Center at Kent. The center will occupy the second floor along with a ground floor entry and staff office space.  For a complete description of the project and the college programs locating in the new center, please see Project Description.
