Agency-Funded Programs

The Special Programs Office works with students receiving funding from an outside agency that may be covering tuition, fees, books and /or supplies. Special Programs serves as a liaison between student, agency and school. Here is a list of agencies that Green River currently works with:

  • Department of Labor and Industries (DOL&I)

  • Department of Services for the Blind

  • Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR)

  • Division of Vocational Rehabilitation / Department Of
    Veteran's Affairs - Chapter 31

  • Employment Security / Trade Adjustment Act

  • King County Work Training Program (KCWTP)

  • Pacific Associates

  • Private Industry Council (King, Pierce or Snohomish County)

  • Private Insurance Companies

  • Washington Women in Need

  • WorkSource (King or Pierce County) 

If you have been approved for retraining, please bring the approved contract/voucher to the Special Programs Ooffice so that a file can be established and the necessary accounts set up. Please note that tuition payment will not be "held" unless an approved contract/voucher is on file.
