Financial aid programs at Green River are administered according to nationally established policies, which are based on the belief that parents have the primary responsibility for assisting their children with educational expenses.

Employment Programs

Gift Aid

Loan Programs

Direct PLUS Loan
A federal loan program for parents of dependent students. 7.9% interest rate. Payment can be deferred.
6 no Maximum loan for parents is based on cost of attendance, less other aid.
Federal Direct Loan
A federal need or non-need based loan program with 3.4% interest on subsidized loans and 6.8% interest for unsubsidized loans.
6 no Maximum amount $5,500 as a freshman, $6,500 as a sophomore, plus additional unsubsidized amounts. Minimum varies depending on lender and eligibility.
