Foundation
About the Foundation
The Green River Community College Foundation was established in 1975 by a group of community members to meet the needs of Green River Community College and its students who were not being funded by state support. The Foundation is a stand-alone, nonprofit organization.
A 25 member Board of Directors, which includes 22 community members and three college staff members, oversee the Foundation.
Mission:
The Green River Community College Foundation provides resources to assist Green River Community College achieve educational excellence.
Vision Statement:
Our vision is to have resources in place to accomplish Green River Community College's excellence in education.
The Foundation couldn't exist without the support of the surrounding community. Each year, community members and organizations give their time and money to help the Foundation reach its goals.
