College Credits in High School
Your high school may offer college-level courses. The credit you earn in these classes may be transferable to a degree program at Green River. Ask your high school counselor for more information.

Running Start
- Earn high school and college credit simultaneously. Eligible juniors and seniors,
enrolled through a public high school/district may take college level credit,
tuition free. Participants can attend the college full or part-time, enrolling
in both transfer oriented and professional / technical classes. Most classes
that take a year to finish in the high school can be completed in just one quarter

Tech Prep
- Enter the workforce with solid academic and technical skills You can
get a head start on your future and begin to prepare for a career when
you take Tech Prep courses such as auto body, health care, culinary
arts, business, accounting and visual communications at your high school.
If you receive a B or better in these classes, you can receive college
credit from Green River. For more information, see your high school

New Student Advising
Register for Student Orientation, Advising & Registration (SOAR)
New students register for their first quarter classes on a space available basis by completing SOAR either online or in-person.
