The spring 2010 Go 2 College Free program at Green River Community College is currently full to everyone except students receiving TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families). We encourage you to check back mid-April for summer and fall quarter funding availability (Summer and fall quarters begin June 21 and September 20, 2010, respectively).
Send us an e-mail or call us at 253-833-9111 Ext 2211 if:
- you are receiving TANF and would like to attend Green River for spring of 2010, or
- you are receiving Unemployment Insurance and need to have your Commissioner Approved Training / Training Benefits (CAT/TB) packet reviewed and signed.
Important steps you can take NOW!
Below are some steps you can take now to prepare for spring quarter:
- Apply for Federal Financial Aid;
- Apply for admissions to the college;
- Take the COMPASS Assessment to determine your reading, writing and math levels;
- Take a Career Assessment and meet with a Career Advisor (only if you are unsure of your program of study);
- Participate in New Student Advising either in-person or online;
- Apply for Federal Financial Aid;
