The
Humanities Division is accepting applications to be
considered for adjunct instruction.
Adjunct instructors are appointed quarter to quarter based on
student enrollment. For specifics, applicants should contact the
division for more information.
CMST 100 (Fund-Oral
Communications): designed to prepare students for job interviews and
communication skills needed in the work place. Student’s will be
completing 2 year professional degrees and moving into a job.
CMST& 220: (Public Speaking):
Qualified applicants would have a master’s degree in rhetoric and public
address and experience teaching public speaking or a background in
debate.
CMST& 210 (Interpersonal Communication).
A basic course in interpersonal communication.
MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS:
CMST 100 and CMST& 210: Master’s degree or
equivalent in Communication Studies or Speech.
CMST&220: Master's degree in rhetoric and
public address and experience teaching public speaking or a background
in debate.
PREFERRED
QUALIFICATIONS:
CMST 100: communication
background in organizational communication or adult learning;
consideration may be given to applicants with a general
communication background or interpersonal communication with
relevant teaching experience.
Successful
teaching experience at the college level.
CMST&210:
background in interpersonal communication; consideration may be given to
applicants with a general communication background and relevant teaching
experience.
SALARY:
Salary is determined by the
college salary schedule, and varies depending on the degree and mode
of instruction.
