The Technology
Division is accepting applications to be considered for adjunct
instruction. Adjunct instructors are appointed quarter to quarter
based on student enrollment.
POSITION
DESCRIPTION: Teach
introductory design drafting classes as follows for Winter Quarter
(Jan - Mar), Monday through Friday from 7 - 9 am.
DT101 –
Introduction to Technical Drafting (7 cr).

UNIT 5 – GEOMETRIC CONSTRUCTIONS
UNIT 6 – LINE QUALITY
UNIT 7 – CIVIL ENGINEER'S SCALE AND PROTRACTOR
UNIT 8 – ARCHITECT'S SCALE
UNIT 9 – LINE QUALITY AND GEOMETRIC CONSTRUCTION EXERCISES
UNIT 10 – DIMENSIONING ORTHOGRAPHIC VIEWS
UNIT 11 – DIMENSIONING SECTIONAL VIEWS
MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS: Two
years experience as a design drafter and associates degree or higher
in a field directly related to design drafting.
PREFERRED
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Familiar with Manual drafting
lab procedures. Able to aid in maintaining blue line materials
and Manual drafting equipment.
- Teaching experience
SALARY: Salary
is determined by the college salary schedule, and varies depending on
the degree and mode of instruction.
