Green River Community College is located on a 168-acre wooded site near Auburn, Washington, about 30 miles from both Seattle and Tacoma.  The college opened in 1965 and enrolls over 9,000 students, includes 11 instructional divisions and 50 vocational programs, and employs 131 full-time and approximately 200 part-time instructors.  Green River Community College recognizes that embracing diversity maximizes faculty and staff contribution to our goals and provides the best opportunity for student achievement.

The Mathematics Division is accepting applications to be considered for adjunct instruction. Adjunct instructors are appointed quarter to quarter based on student enrollment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Varies with the class. Bachelor’s degree in mathematics and relevant teaching experience, Master’s degree in related field and relevant experience, Master’s degree in education with math emphasis, or Master’s degree in Mathematics. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in Mathematics and successful teaching experience at the college level

SALARY: Salary is determined by the college salary schedule, and varies depending on the degree and mode of instruction.
