The Mathematics Division is accepting applications to be considered for adjunct instruction. Adjunct instructors are appointed quarter to quarter based on student enrollment.

   

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

 

Math 256: Statistics for Business and Social Science:  Study of descriptive and inferential statistics; boxplots, histograms and scatterplots; introduction to design of experiments; measures of central tendency, frequency distributions; probability distributions; sampling and sampling distributions; hypothesis testing and linear regression

 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSM.A. or M.S. in Mathematics

 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSMaster's degree plus successful teaching experience at the college level

 

 

SALARYSalary is determined by the college salary schedule, and varies depending on the degree and mode of instruction
