The Mathematics Division is accepting applications to be
considered for adjunct instruction. Adjunct instructors are
appointed quarter to quarter based on student enrollment.
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Math 256: Statistics for Business and Social Science: Study
of descriptive and inferential statistics; boxplots,
histograms and scatterplots; introduction to design of
experiments; measures of central tendency, frequency
distributions; probability distributions; sampling and
sampling distributions; hypothesis testing and linear
regression
MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS: M.A. or M.S. in Mathematics
PREFERRED
QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree plus successful teaching experience at the
college level
SALARY:
Salary is determined by the college salary schedule, and
varies depending on the degree and mode of instruction
