The Social Science
Division is accepting applications to be considered for adjunct
instruction. Adjunct instructors are
appointed quarter to quarter based on student enrollment.
AVAILABLE COURSES:
Sociology 110 - Survey of Sociology:
Introduction to the scientific study
of life in groups. Examines the creation and reinforcement of
cultural patterns that influence individuals, groups, and society at
large. Emphasis is on socialization processes, social institutions,
small and large group dynamics, social inequalities, and social
movements.
Days/Times: 2 sections, 8-9am daily
and 11-12 noon daily
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s Degree in
Sociology.
PREFERRED
QUALIFICATIONS:
Successful teaching experience at the college level.
SALARY:
Salary is determined by the college salary schedule, and varies
depending on the degree and mode of instruction.
