The Science
Division is accepting applications
to be
considered for adjunct instruction. Adjunct instructors are
appointed quarter to quarter based on student enrollment. For
specifics, applicants should contact the division for more

AP205 Human
Anatomy and Physiology 1 Sections C and D
Study of human
structure and function. First quarter of the two-quarter sequence,
including the study of cells, tissues and the integumentary,
skeletal, muscular and nervous systems. Mechanisms of common human
disease processes are explored. Laboratory component includes
anatomical studies using microscopy, palpation, and dissection and
the study of physiological concepts via experimentation. Intended
to prepare transfer students for careers in health profession fields
such as dental hygiene, nursing, physical therapy, chiropractic, etc
MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s
Degree in the biological sciences with a clear and strong focus in
anatomy and physiology.
PREFERRED
QUALIFICATIONS: Successful teaching experience at the college
level.
SALARY:
Salary
is determined by the college salary schedule, and varies depending on
the degree and mode of instruction.
