The college opened in 1965 and enrolls over 9,000 students, includes 11 instructional divisions and 50 vocational programs, and employs 131 full-time and approximately 200 part-time instructors. Position: Environmental Science - Adjunct

The Science Division is accepting applications to be considered for adjunct instruction. Adjunct instructors are appointed quarter to quarter based on student enrollment.

Course(s):

Environmental Science 204
Investigates interaction of physical and biological systems in the environment. Examines scientific principles which are involved in modern environmental problems and issues. Topics could include energy, climate, soils, water, animal studies, local plants, dynamics of plants and animal populations and communities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s in Environmental Science or related field.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Successful teaching experience at the college level.

SALARY: Salary is determined by the college salary schedule, and varies depending on the degree and mode of instruction.
