The Social Science
Division is accepting applications to be considered for adjunct
instruction. Adjunct instructors are
appointed quarter to quarter based on student enrollment.
AVAILABLE COURSES:
AMES 100:
Introduction to Ethnic and Minority Studies
A social and
historical overview of the interrelationships that exist between
various groups in the United States. Focuses on Native American,
African American, Latino, and Asian American relations with each
other and with the dominant society.
Days/Times:
Daily, 9-10am
MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s in a Social Science discipline with
a specialty or concentration in race and ethnic studies.
PREFERRED
QUALIFICATIONS: Successful
teaching experience at the college level.
SALARY:
Salary is determined by the
college salary schedule, and varies depending on the degree and mode
of instruction.
