The Social Science Division is accepting applications to be considered for adjunct instruction.  Adjunct instructors are appointed quarter to quarter based on student enrollment. 

Courses: 

GEOG 108: Intro to Human Geography, Section A (Daily, 8:00 - 8:50 a.m. and 9:00 - 9:50 a.m.)
Course Description: Human geography is the spatial study of cultural phenomena on Earth. This course examines the distribution of diverse cultures, ethnicities, languages, religions, and economies at a global as well as regional scale. This course analyses current geographic problems in the context of migration, population growth, ethnic and religious identities, the colonial legacy and the growing forces of globalization.
Days/Times: Daily from 8-9 AM (main campus in Auburn)

GEOG 120: Introduction to Physical Geography, Section A (Daily, 11:00 am. - 12:20 p.m.)
Course Description: A macroenvironmental study of the character, location and origins of different types of physical phenomena such as landforms, weather, climate, soil, vegetation, wildlife, and their relationship to humans.

Master’s in Geography

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Successful teaching experience at the college level.

SALARY: Salary is determined by the college salary schedule, and varies depending on the degree and mode of instruction.
